QuantumSwap Browser Extension — Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 18, 2026

Summary

The QuantumSwap Browser Extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any user data. There is no telemetry, no analytics, no tracking, and no account registration. We do not operate any server that receives data from the extension.

Data stored on your device

Everything the extension needs is stored locally in your browser profile and never leaves your device except as described under "Network communication" below:

• Wallet keys and seed phrases — encrypted on your device with your password (AES-256-GCM with a scrypt-derived key). They are never transmitted anywhere. We cannot access or recover them.
• Settings and network configuration — stored locally.
• Spoof Buster words — anti-phishing words stored locally.
• Connected sites — the list of websites you have approved to see your wallet address, stored locally so those connections persist.

Uninstalling the extension removes this data from your browser.

Network communication

The extension only communicates with blockchain infrastructure, and only to do what a wallet must do:

• Blockchain RPC and scan endpoints that you configure (or the built-in defaults for the QuantumCoin network) — to read balances and transaction history and to broadcast transactions you sign. These requests necessarily contain public blockchain data such as wallet addresses and signed transactions.
• Block explorer links open in your browser only when you click them.

No request is ever sent to QuantumSwap servers, and no third-party analytics or advertising service is contacted.

Websites you connect to

A website can only see your wallet address after you explicitly approve its connection request in the extension. Transactions and signatures always require your explicit approval. You can disconnect a site at any time from within the extension.

Browser permissions

• Access to websites — used solely to make the wallet available to decentralized applications (the standard window.quantumcoin provider) and to reach the blockchain endpoints you configure. Page content is not read, collected, or modified beyond providing the wallet API.
• Storage — keeps your encrypted wallet and settings on your device.
• Clipboard write — lets you copy your wallet address with one click.
• Side panel — hosts the wallet interface in the browser side panel.

Children's privacy

The extension is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Because the extension collects no data, changes are expected to be rare.
